Re-examine and Adjust

Of course when I mention plugged in, the first thing that comes to mind is the socket where electrical appliances draw energy from when it’s switched on. And since we have been around a number of them for quite a while, we know quite a bit of the rules for dealing with them.

First is make sure your hands are not wet, make sure there are no exposed wires so when you switch it on, no one gets electrocuted and make sure once the two points meet, you switch it on or power will not flow. Those are just a few of the rules but I would focus on the last point. Without turning on the switch (on a properly functioning socket) there will be no flow of electricity.

So what has this got to do with you or anyone else? A lot actually! In the last two discussions, we have talked about the need for obedience and the need to harness the greatest collaboration we can and should have – the one with our creator.

sistapowerWhy is this important? It is because God has a purpose for you and I. While we are all created to bring Him glory, the way and manner we have been given to do this, differs! And the only way we can ever discover our individual vehicles for delivering Him glory is by us waiting on Him, searching for Him and resting in Him. In addition to discovering the relevant vehicles, we only get to discover the fuel type that will run that car in Him. Your collaborations are a type of fuel for your car headed towards fulfilling purpose. Your remaining in tune with God helps you to drive into the right collaborations and pick up the right fuels that will push you in the right direction.

This process of discovery will only happen if you stay PLUGGED IN TO HIM. In fact where God is concerned get rid of the switch and leave the connection permanently on. He even asks us to seek him while He may be found. The only way you can find Him is if you connect yourself to Him in quiet places and stay connected. Then He can release the instructions that will guide your every move especially concerning your collaborations. You definitely don’t want to have diesel in your car instead of petrol or petrol instead of gas or gas instead of water!

If you are not properly plugged in to God or even unsure of how to go about taking that first step or you have been in the wrong filling stations or on the wrong queues and are wondering how to retrace your steps, don’t worry you are not alone. Join your sistas at the next sista power gathering titled “Re-examine and Adjust” at the Testimony Place at 5, Akiogun Street, Off Oniru Market Road, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos State.

Your life will never remain the same.

See you there!

I believe that God wants to be connected to everybody, so it`s good we stay in contact with him all the time. As this will also be profitable to us. God is our original source. When we reference God, blessings begin to flow from him to us. We should not leave God out in anything we do because in him we would have the best. He is our greatest friend and companion. That is why we should always strive to be like him in all we do say and in everything about us. God never disappoints and he is trustworthy. He can never fail. Some may think that being in Christ is boring but they are very wrong. It is good we keep in touch with our heavenly father so that he reveals the deep and secret things to us. There is no distance between him and us because he is very near to us at all times. All we have to do is to reach out to him and he will be our guide.
