Where I come from, when making an online transaction, especially when it has to do with transferring funds from one account to another, the process could sometimes be painfully and annoyingly slow or shockingly but rarely supersonic fast! Whichever pace happens to take its course, there is always that line that tells you to wait. You cannot skip that part no matter how much hurry you are in. You just have to wait… and pray it’s not a long wait. Why are we required to wait for our transaction to be processed? Simple; to ensure and verify that we are not fraudsters and that we have correctly completed every step required in carrying out the transaction.
Life happens to tilt towards the same direction.
In most of our daily activities; like shopping, on a queue, in traffic, in a banking hall, sending mails, making phone calls, cooking, fetching water, we all need to wait for a while for whatever it is we are doing to complete its course. Unfortunately, there are people who don’t have the patience for some things to complete their course, especially if the process is slow. They quickly stop the process and look for short cuts to getting what they want at the snap of a finger.
Waiting for the fruit of the womb is no different at all. As a matter of fact, some people call it the ‘waiting room’. Others call it trusting God for the fruit of the womb and some; ‘waiting on the Lord’. They all come down to the same thing — Waiting.
What you do while waiting however determines the kind of attitude you exhibit. What is your attitude when your transaction process happens to be a very ssssssllllloooowwwwww one? Are you quick to cancel or patient enough to wait for it to be completed? Remember, when you cancel you need to start over again because these things never start off from where you left off, and there is no guarantee that the next time it will be faster. It may even be slower actually. So it is best to wait for it to complete it’s course.
For some people, the waiting room stay is very short as their transaction process is very fast. Others have to wait much longer as the process is slower. The bottom line is everyone is attended to. The time you started the process does not matter at all. In this life we are all running an individual race and everyone cannot run at the same pace or finish at the same time. Our priority is to look on to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith; aiming to get to the finish line and not falling out of the race.
Your reward awaits you at the finish line even if you come in last.
But what if at the end of waiting, what you get is “transaction failed or “not successful”? Do you give up or try again? Here on earth, we either try again or contact the service provider informing them of the failed transaction. We are sometimes put through a step by step process of how to get it done or given an alternative way to get it done – as it may be the online process only that is failing. However, if we follow the advice we are given, we will get what we want done, eventually, though it may be a different and longer process and may require more time and energy from us.
However in God’s Kingdom, there is no failed transaction, unless of course you have doubts-there are terms & conditions for such people: “When you ask for something, don’t have any doubts… A person who has doubts shouldn’t expect to receive anything from the Lord. (James 1:6-7 Good News Translation)
Another reason you might just get a failed transaction notice from God is because you are plain selfish: “When you pray for things, you don’t get them because you want them for the wrong reason-for your own pleasure”. (James 4:3 Good News Translation)
Have you started a transaction process with God for your Destiny Child? Please do not doubt, believe He is able and will do just as He promised.
Is your need for a child a selfish one? Think very well and set the records straight- children are God’s heritage and the fruit of the womb is His reward- not yours. Once we are clear on these, you can now sit still in His waiting room while your transaction is being processed. Don’t lose hope; don’t walk out in desperation, in God’s perfect timing your transaction will surely read: Transaction successful! Congratulations on the birth of your Destiny Child!
