It was Jordan Sparks that did the song, ‘One step at a time’ and at the time the song was released I was in the process of stepping out of my comfort zone, to follow my dream. It seemed a very uphill task and that song became my ringtone to remind me that all I needed to do was put my feet one step ahead of the other and God will see me through. I am yet to apprehend, but I can tell you that today I am closer than when I started.
It’s a brand new year and we are all in pursuit of different things that hopefully will bring us closer to destiny. I will like to encourage us to do our best and keep walking one step after the other. We will make it. We have all the usual lined up for you and a few more, because you asked.
Please welcome Sade Femi-Lawal, Olutayo Bankole and Enife Atobiloye to our fold. You are welcome girls, we absolutely love you. On Meat in Due Season, Mark looks at Visioneering, Reflections talks about Working on Ourselves. Home Maker says ‘Do not settle!’ and Xpressions of the Spirit is talking Strategic Preparation. On Go Xplore, we will be looking all through this year at cities within our nation and what better place to begin than Abeokuta, the city under the rock?
For the first time, we had the opportunity of speaking with the man of honour in the life of our God’s Leading Lady. Sarah Daniel (Mrs.) is our God’s Leading Lady, and for maximum effect we have Mr. Oluwadare Daniel; her husband and a man that has inspired me greatly. You will learn a lot from them.
Whatever your pursuit may be this year, whatever the challenges that might come with them, remember that it might take a while, but if you put your feet one in front of the other on a daily consistent basis, not looking back, not afraid of the future, with purpose and with vision, you will make it to the goal. God is willing to partner with you, so do something today to get you closer to your goal and purpose. Just one step today and you can celebrate, because you will be closer to destiny than you were yesterday. So what will you do today?
Love you lots, and here’s toasting to your success, even though we just set out.
Hugs…
