Living a Fearless Life By Adeola Akintoye

Review by: Jasmine Jolaso

What would it take to live a life without fear? A life where there is no fear of death; lack, sickness, hurt, loneliness but one that is full of indescribable joy. This book by Adeola Akintoye will give you timeless principles for living a fearless life.

Within a Christian genre, the author combines biblically sound teaching with practical prayers on how to overcome any type of fear that anyone might experience. The book has been enriched with the author’s own real life experiences, emphasising theimpact the word of God has had on her life.

The book begins with an exposition of the nature of ungodly fear – as a state of mind that has an impact on every area of our lives – and the consequences, including stress, anxiety, illness, depression as well as other effects that prevents anyone from living a life full of joy.

The book sheds a light on some of the reasons why people might have those kind of fears explaining how it’s a mere part of human emotions. It’s eye-opening to read about the common types of fear that we have all experiences at one point or the other in our lives, some of these types of fear are that of loneliness, bareness, death, failure and love.

Adeola encourages us to fight these fears with the renewal of our minds.

The only fear that should be in our hearts, Adeola explains, is the fear of God, and not of any human. The book concludes with the reasons and the benefits of fearing God.

This book will encourage anyone to find the courage to confront their fears.

Living a Fearless Life by Adeola Akintoye is a book I would recommend for everyone looking for peace through scriptural meditation and through the application of the practical tips recommended by the author.
