Bidemi Mark-Mordi says so many things that got me excited in this truly inspirational and ‘journey-transforming’ book but the above quote is my all-time favourite because if I had to give you one ‘take away’ anchor point from the whole book, it would be that. As I read it all the whistles and bells in my mind were set off! It struck a chord with me so deeply because it’s all I am about. To be God’s Poster child; Living a life that glorifies my God and King. A life that partners with all the beautiful and magnificent wonders of nature to display how great our God is. That’s my ultimate ambition in life and this book; Destiny Navigational Application (DNA) has been written to provide a roadmap I believe you and I can follow to do just that! How exciting!
As you diligently travel the pages of DNA, you will discover that your journey towards being your ‘Greatest You’ begins with you looking like your Father-God.
Until we truly reflect God, we will keep going around in circles. As Bidemi puts it, this is our first assignment. A must do. But what does God look like? How can we ‘mirror’ Him in our daily walk? Where do we even begin? Read DNA. You will find out.
What is your ‘Why’? In the book, DNA, you find that your ‘Why’ is your Divine Natural Assignment. You were created by God, born by your Mother and given to our world with all your gifts and abilities to be a Blessing and to Rule in Dominion. Bidemi knows most of us know this BUT how many of us truly know what those gifts are? In her book, she endeavors, in 4 steps, to walk you through the process to uncover these talents that form the core of your DNA. The moment you enter into this space of self-awareness, you will now be set for a new level of productivity. Your gifts will begin to bear real and legacy-enhancing fruit to the glory of God.
Please Read this book and let Bidemi Mark-Mordi take you deeper into what I have shared. There is no way this review can fully capture all the book has to offer you. You were born to fulfill a God-Given mandate. Let the author, through her book, show you how. I must warn you. DNA is not a book you should rushthrough. I encourage you to read slowly, take down notes and pause and reflect over the questions asked at the end of every chapter. Lest you rush and miss your ‘Word’. I end with another quote from the book:
“Dear Reader; this whole talk about DNA and Mandates is about the glory of God. The devil isn’t interested in what we do as long as we don’t become who God called us to be; as long as we don’t resemble God and fulfil mandate, the devil is fine”.
Which to me means the devil wins. No! I will never let that happen.
