My fellow style queens, I can’t tell you how strange it is, to live in a country where you don’t have to dress for different seasons. Here, it’s either hot and dry or hot and wet; and I for one miss the excitement of rocking out in a ‘fly’ new season look. I am not sure I’ll ever come to terms with the fact that I won’t need some ‘killer’ winter boots or a snug new winter coat this year.
Anyways, because good style needs no season, I thought I’d remind you of my favourite style “oldie but goodie” tip.
Yup, I’m talking accessorising this month.Three fabulous ways to turn any look from ‘blah’ to ‘wow’ in no time at all.
First up: Shoes
Oh, how I love me a pair of foxy shoes. I have far too many for it to be healthy, but a girl can never have too many shoes, right? There’s something about a pair of wicked wedges or killer stilettos that makes my little heart beat a little quicker every time. I must say thateven I have been put in the shade by some of the heels I’ve seen the fashionistas over here sporting. Shoes so high, they could give you a nosebleed!
My next favourite accessory is a gorgeous handbag.

I love the smell of a new handbag, and thinking about how I’m going to style it. My latest handbag crush is a snakeskin and tan leather clutch. I tell you, if I could have it sleep beside me, on its own special pillow, I would. Sadly, I don’t think hubby would agree to that, so I have to satisfy myself with putting it in its own special pouch. If there was ever a fire in my house, I’d be the mad woman, running out clutching her favourite shoes, handbags and jewellery. Who needs a passport, when you are an international style queen?
Ah, jewellery—Last but most definitely not least. I’m always astounded when I meet women who say, they don’t really wear jewellery. To me, that would be like going out half dressed. I’m a bold kind of gal, so the bigger the better, goes for me. However, there’s a piece of jewellery to suit every taste out there. Quiet, retiring type? Go for a delicate chain or bracelet. Bold like me? Really go for that eye catching pendant or shoulder grazing earrings. There’s really no right or wrong way to wear jewellery, just your way, with a whole lot of attitude.

So there you have it, stylish ones–3 easy ways to go from ‘blah’ to ‘wow’ in 30 seconds or less. Lose the sensible shoes, throw on a pair of leg lengthening heels, add in a fab piece of jewellery and ‘arm candy’ and you’re good to go.
Until next time, wear it well.
